Chandrababu inaugurates interim secretariat

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday formally inaugurated the new building for the AP temporary Secretariat at Velagapudi in Guntur district. The ceremony was attended by AP Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao, cabinet Ministers, MPs, MLAs and MLCs, officials and leaders of employees’ unions.

Following the non-availability of auspicious dates in the next months, the inauguration was scheduled at a short notice. Hence the firm incharge of construction, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) was ordered to repare two-room space for the inauguration ceremony by the government. The inauguration took place within 66 days of the foundation stone laying ceremony for the interim secretariat. The foundation ceremony took place on February 17, 2016.

Speaking on the occasion, Assembly Speaker called on the politicians, officials, employees and people to strive for making the state as Swarnandhra Pradesh.
