Union Minister for Urban Development and Housing, M Venkaiah Naidu, ruled out the midterm poll and said such talk had no basis. “I don’t know from where this rumor came from. We are given a mandate for 5 years and we are going to complete it”, he said.
Speaking to media here on Sunday, he said both the Prime Minister Narender Modi, and the party president, Amit Shah, were asking the party to prepare for elections in 2019. “So the talk of elections in the States and Centre is baseless”, he said.
