Indian Super Series: Saina-Sindhu will face face-to-face in quarterfinals

India’s two Olympic medals and country’s top badminton players PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal are going to meet each other. Both the players won their respective matches in the Indian Open Super Series 2017 and set up a match of the quarter-finals, which all were waiting for.

Saina has beaten quarter-final shots of Thailand very easily by cutting the quarter-finals. The 27-year-old Saina, who won the 2012 Olympic bronze medal, won the match 21-14, 21-12.
On the other hand, Sindhu had to work hard to win her match. The 19-year-old Japanese army kavakami gave a tough fight to the 2016 Olympic silver medalist. In the first game, Sindhu easily won 21-16 but in the second game the Japanese player showed very aggressive game. In the end, Sindhu did the other game hardly 23-21.

Will be the second time

This second collision will take place at the international level between Saina-Indus. Last time, both of these shuttlers were in the 2014 Syed Modi Grand Prix, where Saina had won an easy win.
