Jamuna husband Juluri Ramana Rao passes away
Veteran heroine Januma’s husband Juluri Ramana Rao passed away at the age of 86 due to heart stroke at his Banjara Hills residence in Hyderabad. The last rites would be performed at Panjagutta on Tuesday afternoon. 78-year old Jamuna was married to Ramana Rao, who was a Zoology professor in SV University in the year 1965 and they have a son (Vamsikrishna) and daughter (Sravanthi). Juluri Ramana Rao was a Zoology Professor and worked for the protection of wild life animals and birds. Juluri has done special efforts for the protection of deer.
Jamuna is one of the popular actresses across South India and she appeared in some Bollywood films too. Jamuna acted in nearly 200 films which Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. She was elected as MP from Rajahmundry constituency in the year 1989 on Congress party ticket. Later, She announced retirement from politics as well. Tollywood personalities have been expressing their heartfelt condolences to the family of Jamuna.
