Amidst growing criticism for expensive gold donation, worth 5 crores, made to Tirumala Tirupathi Devastatham (TTD) by Telangana Chief Minister KCR, here’s a splashiest news to calm all of them down. As per CM office, KCR released as much as 120 crore funds for legislators of state – that’s the overall proposed budget to build new residences to each of them.
With a view to allocate a new home-offices to all MLAs’ and make them more accessible to people of their town, CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to spend around 1 crore on each building in all 119 assembly constituencies. The luxurious and costly multi-floored homes will have three bedrooms, a drawing room, dining room, kitchen, Puja and bathrooms, besides VIP lounge and a hall for workers and supporters as part of office section.
The first home-cum-office will be inaugurated at Parkal on 2nd March I.e Thursday. Telangana CM will will hand the first building to Parkal MLA Challa Dharma Reddy.
This move is most unlikely to draw any sort of disapproval, since it is aimed to cater to all the legislators irrespective of parties. In the past, when KCR allotted 40 Crores to build CM bungalow- it has attracted huge fault-finding from the oppositional parties in state.
