KCR sanctioned Rs 5.59 crore to temples

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao sanctioned Rs 5.59 crore to 3 temples in AP and 2 temples in Telangana in connection with the formation of Telangana state. Funds of Common Good Fund (CG) with the Endowments Department have been transferred.

5 Temples – Sri Venkateswara Swamy at Tirumala, Bhadrakali at Warangal, Kanakadurga at Vijayawada, Padmavathi at Tiruchanur and Korivi Veerabhdra Swamy in Warangal.

Sri Venkateswara Swamy (Tirumala) – Rs 5 crore worth Mula Varna Kamalamu Kamuna, Bangaru Saligram Haram and Sidu Petala Kante.

Bhadrakali (Warangal) – Rs 57 lakh worth 2 kg Gold Crown.

Korivi Veerabhdra Swamy (Warangal) – Rs 75,000 worth Bangaru Meesalu weighing 20 to 25 grams gold.

Kanakadurga (Vijayawada) – Rs 45,000 worth Bangaru Mukku Pudaka weighing 10 to 15 grams gold.

Padmavathi (Tiruchanur) – Rs 45,000 worth Bangaru Mukku Pudaka weighing 10 to 15 grams gold.
