Mobile App for Andhra Pradesh people
The State government of Andhra Pradesh launched its latest Application : “AP Speaks”. Proving his tryst with technology again, CM Chandrababu Naidu unveiled this application through his micro-blogging page Twitter. Sharing the news, Babu wrote, “We are a listening government. Speak to us through our app ‘AP Speaks’ with your ideas & feedback.
The description of the App goes like this: “AP Speaks” is a citizen engagement platform from the Government of Andhra Pradesh that is aimed at involving citizens of the State in matters of Governance, inviting ideas & suggestions on key initiatives. AP Speaks will be the first Instant Idea sharing & Feedback gathering platform in India. The mobile version will allow citizens to participate on the move, and at their convenience.
Using the App citizens will be able to perform the following functions:
– Give feedback on the campaigns hosted
– Give ideas on key initiatives
– Receive notifications from the Government about any new campaign or regarding any other information
– Invite friends through social media & other standard platforms
– Share popular ideas on social media
Chandrababu is well-known as tech-savvy CM and has a great track-record as Hi-tech CM. He’s considered as one of the first CMs of nation to use technology for simplifying governance. “Mr Nara Chandrababu Naidu is new-age politician and second to none when it comes to using technology for governance,” commented a political observer.
