Modi should apologise to India for inviting ISI, says Arvind Kejriwal

Arvind Kejriwal

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal lashed out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, for inviting Pakistan’s ISI team to probe the Pathankot terror attack. Mr.Kejriwal said that the PM should “apologise” to the nation for “surrendering” before the Pakistan.

“In 65 years of India’s history no PM has surrendered to Pakistan in the manner in which PM Narendra Modi has done,” Mr Kejriwal said on Tuesday.

He said that by inviting ISI to India, Mr. Modi has maligned the image of ‘India’.

“By letting ISI to investigate Pathankot attacks, in a way, you have given a clean chit to ISI. PM Modi should apologise to the nation. Now, people want to know what’s the deal between Nawaz Sharif and PM as the attack on Pathankot took place was a week after they met,” the Delhi CM said.

Earlier, in the day Mr. Kejriwal took to Twitter and criticised the Centre for its decision to invite Pakistan’s probe team. “The country has been betrayed by the Prime Minister,” Mr Kejriwal tweeted in response to reports that Pakistani investigators have concluded that the deadly terror attack at the Pathankot air base was staged by India to ‘malign Pakistan’. “On one hand, they say ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and on the other, they call ISI and back stab Bharat Mata,” Mr Kejriwal tweeted.
