NTR gardens To Be Replaced With Ambedkar Square


The world’s tallest statue of B.R. Ambedkar is all set to be installed in Hyderabad. A decision to this effect was taken by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and it’s a known news to all. K. Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to commemorate the 125 anniversary of B.R Ambedkar with a 125 feet statue of the stalwart, in Hyderabad and he directed officials to complete the statue within a year so that it can be unveiled on April 14, 2017.

The CM constituted a special committee under Kadiam Srihari to identify a suitable location, to be known as Ambedkar Square, for the statue in the city. Now it is coming out that the cabinet committee has decided on the location. According to reports the sprawling NTR gardens will be replaced by Ambedkar park. The proposed Ambedkar park will come up at the spot where the NTR gardens exists. Only the NTR ghat will remain untouched.

Political analyst saying that KCR is using name of Ambedkar to erase NTR memory since opposition will find it difficult to oppose the things as it was related to father of Indian constitution.
